We sit down with Jeff Currier, while he’s is on the road hosting a slew of fly shop presentations, and focus our interview on his early years of fly fishing and exploratory travel. Jeff explains what it was like to travel before email and the internet, “Indeed, there were more unknowns that led to more adventure. Maps weren’t always accurate and travel books were often outdated. These issues created the extra unexpected adventure that I miss most. No internet or email also made it much easier to vanish from civilization.”
