The American Museum of Fly Fishing’s 2015 Deborah Pratt Dawson Conservation Symposium marked the first time that core conservation organizations Trout Unlimited, American Rivers, Batten Kill Watershed Alliance, Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, Atlantic Salmon Federation, and Interfluve can together to discuss their efforts in one building. The presenters from each organization are leaders in the field of conservation with years of boots-on-the-ground experience combating the natural and manmade effects on riparian habitats. They shared many stories about their process and some unique challenges that they have met on the way in front of a packed house at the Orvis Fly Fishing School in Manchester, Vermont and chronicled digitally for the web.
