The Acension Bay Permit Tournament 2015 will take place from May 10 to May 15 in Punta Allen – Quintana Roo – Mexico.
The goal is to promote the village of Punta Allen as “The Permit Capital of the World”.
Winners will win a permit shaped sculpture created from pure iron, hand made by Italian Master Artist Alberto Coppini.
1st place sculpure – 60/70 centimeters + $2000.00 USD
2nd place sculpure – 50/60 centimeters + 1000.00 USD
3rd place sculpture – 40/50 centimeter only.
The tournament will also collect money for the children inside the Sian Ka’an Biosphere and to promote fly fishing for the future.
The tournament is a “village” tournament, all the lodges in the area will participate.
