This is Fly Magazine continues to embrace diversity with a collection of stories that will take readers around the world chasing Brown Trout, Roosterfish, Redfish and the ferocious Papa New Guinea black bass!
Adam Feuerman and Alex Beck sit down and talk about their new project In Search of Grande which depicts their adventure in Baha Mexico in search for a ‘Grande’ roosterfish. Adam tells us, “Our trip was an adventure. To me, the definition of adventure is an exciting experience filled with highs, lows, and the eventual earned success. We definitely experienced that and I think many people can relate. The important thing is that we stayed positive. It’s easy to lose focus and optimism when things aren’t working out. It’s hard to stay driven and committed, but that’s what it takes to be successful in anything. Our story could not have written itself any better and that is why fisherman and non-fisherman alike should relate to this story..”
Dylan Drebitko is our featured photographer. Dylan is a new contributor and we look forward to working with him more in 2015. Make sure you check out his awesome black and white photography.
This is Fly Magazine has partnerships with Trout Unlimited, Bonefish Tarpon Trust, Casting for Recovery, Casting 4 A Cure, and Project Healing Waters. These relationships mean a lot to This is Fly Magazine and we plan to continue to work closely with each organization to benefit their cause in 2015.
