Big ups to Derek Young of Snoqualmie, Washington for being named Orvis’ 2011 guide of the year. Young, who guides in his native waters of the Yakima River, was one of a number of winners left looking for new belts for their trophy buckles. Young guides the aforementioned Yakima where cutthroat and heavy wild trout reign supreme.
